I started by sketching the side profile and extruding it. I then made the legs by sketching an area to remove using extrude cut. I then sketched an area to extrude, which was smaller than the top face of the bedframe. This was the mattress. I then made drawe near the bottom, front left of the bed by drawing an area that represented the total area of the drawe. I then extruded that, and shortly after extruded cut a smaller rectangular area to create a hole. I then retraced over these holes and de-selected the "merge result" option.
